Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Having been to Delhi the food reminded me so much of that trip. The person working there was not only on top of his game. But took time to talk with us upon finding out my partner had never eaten Indian food. Offered her suggestions. And when we were done an paid offered us a a rice pudding for her to try on the house. Is amazing will be back again. Definitely a monthly or weekly dining spot

Had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The place has a very modern and stylish atmosphere while still feeling warm and welcoming. The staff and owners are incredibly lovely people who make you feel right at home. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made the experience even better for our family. The food was absolutely outstanding β€” easily some of the best in town. The chicken chili was packed with flavor, the momos were perfectly cooked and delicious, and the thali was incredible with a great variety and authentic taste. Every dish felt fresh and made with care. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Indian food, excellent hospitality, and a comfortable family-friendly environment!

The best Indian/Nepalese food I've ever had. My family and I always have to stop in when we are back and forth from Toronto and NYC. Nobin and his staff have incredible service. The food is out of this world. The momos are hands down the highlight for me. Nobin was even so gracious to prepare a Jhol Momo dish for me, a Nepali staple. And it turned out DELICIOUS. It's not on the menu right now but make sure to ask to ask for it!! Super conforting and homemade. The steamed momos are so soft and packed with meat. (Or veggies if you prefer) The lentil soup is out of this world too. My family who always eats Indian/South Asian style food, always makes it a point to stop by on our road trip--so you know it is damn worth it.

We stumbled upon this by accident and glad we did. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. They were out of Taj Mahal beer so I got Flying Horse, huge bottle that was great. We started with vegetable Momo which again shows the diversity of the menu. The vegetable filling was great and the dumplings were steamed properly. There was a spicy tasty sauce with them. For dinner, I got the combination plate, the vegetarian thali which had Chana Masala, Dal Makhani Basmati Rice, Raita, Kheer, and Garlic naan. It was wonderful. Many different flavors in each dish was well spiced and well prepared. Companion got the malai kofta, Vegetable balls cooked in onions cream based sauce with cashew and nuts. It was really delicious. A creamy red curry with these vegetable balls, which were kind of like vegan meatballs. Overall, the dinner was really superb. The restaurant was dimly lit and quiet, and the service was attentive, and the server really knew the menu. Would return in an instant, especially for the buffet.

This was my first time dining in at Royal of India, and it was overall a very wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I went for dinner and the atmosphere was very beautiful, they have a wonderful dining area and it’s obvious they put lots of time into making sure the tables were set. We were greeted immediately by a very kind gentleman who also served our meals and we waited no time to be sat. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and my boyfriend ordered lamb biryani as our main courses and the fish pakora, paneer pakora, and vegetable samosas as appetizers. The food was beyond delicious and came out in a very timely manner! I would also like to add that the gentleman who served us did a wonderful job at checking on us and making sure our drinks were filled. We were so pleased we made plans to come back and try out their buffet! Definitely a nice dining experience!
